Statement:
Death of Peta Murphy

I am devastated to hear of the death of Peta Murphy. While I knew this day would come, Peta had such a life force that I allowed myself to believe it would be many years away. She was warm, witty and wise. 

Peta loved being with people and in turn they loved her. She always dedicated herself to improving life for others. I know her loss will hit the Labor family hard, but it is hardest of all for her husband Rod to whom I offer my most sincere condolences.
